Layering method of vine propagation. A cane from the 'mother' vine is bent over and planted to form its own roots and become an independent vine. Once established it is seperated from the mother vine. This technique may be used to double vine density, but is only possible with ungrafted vines. Vina San Pedro, Molina, Chile.
